We are pleased to announce that the UnderSec Project was presented at the International Conference on Applied Nuclear Physics 2024 held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from September 23-27, 2024!
With over 150 attendees participating, the conference focused on diverse applications of nuclear physics across energy, health, security, and environmental studies.
On July 12th, UnderSec made a significant contribution to European Ports Alliance Technical Workshop on Innovation, focusing on innovative technologies to enhance port and shipping sector resilience against drug trafficking. The event was organized by the European Commission and brought together key stakeholders, including public authorities and private sector representatives, to discuss and explore innovative solutions in the field of port security.
On May 17th, 2024, UnderSec was showcased at the 1st Maritime and Technology Conference held at KOSTIS PALAMAS Hall in Athens. The event aimed to explore solutions for advancing digital innovations in shipping, with a focus on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
The latest issue of the Border Security Report, the Journal of Border Security and Transitional Crime features an article highlighting the innovative solutions of the UnderSec Project, an EU-funded initiative aimed at filling the underwater security capability gaps of ships, ports, and maritime infrastructures. 🌊🔒

SEC4BLUEconomy’24 Conference held in Athens on April 23, 2024, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the crucial role of maritime security in advancing the BLUE Economy. The conference aimed to raise awareness of facts and trends in maritime security. Sponsored by UNIWA (University of West Attica – Greece), the innovative solutions and capabilities of the UnderSec Project were showcased.
